When Our Paths Crossed — Lucius Bluenote Carter
Complete Digital Edition
$2.00
When Our Paths Crossed is a romantic late-night soul-jazz instrumental about those unexpected moments when two lives suddenly intersect. Sometimes it takes no more than a passing glance between strangers to make us wonder whether chance has just placed someone important in our path.
Lucius Bluenote Carter gives that feeling a voice through warm, expressive tenor saxophone, carried by Rhodes, deep bass, restrained live drums and an atmospheric arrangement that moves between longing and possibility. A piece for rainy streets, passing strangers and those moments when we find ourselves looking back.
