The Truth About Inspiration (Spoiler: It Has Terrible Timing)

Ever notice how inspiration never shows up when you’re ready for it?
You sit at the desk — nothing.
You pick up the instrument — silence.
You lie down in bed — BOOM, a full melody, bassline and arrangement kick the door in at once.

So there I am at 2:37am, whisper-humming into my phone like a man negotiating with ghosts, hoping I don’t wake Parichad… or the dogs.

That’s how half the Sessions on the Green tracks begin.
Not glamorous.
Not planned.
Just me, the glow of my phone, and an idea that refuses to wait until morning.
