About this notice
This notice describes the Sessions on the Green® music catalogue website. The website is operated by Peter Pickering / Sessions on the Green®, a business registered in Australia (ABN 77 242 966 291). For privacy enquiries, contact compliance@sessionsonthegreen.com. External stores and services have their own notices.
Browsing and listening
You can browse the catalogue, search for artists and listen without creating an account. The current site has no visitor registration, contact form, newsletter signup or checkout. Search and sort controls work in your browser; the site does not send your search terms to a search service. Page and media requests are sent to the hosting service to deliver the site.
Technical information
Hosting and security services may process information such as your IP address, browser details, request times, requested files and error information to deliver the site, prevent abuse and investigate faults. This information can constitute personal data. Hosting services are provided by Hostinger; their processing is described in their privacy policy.
Fonts and external services
The site currently requests fonts from Google Fonts. These requests disclose connection information, including your IP address and browser request details, to Google. See Google Fonts privacy information. Links to Bandcamp, elasticStage, DistroKid Direct, Fourthwall and other services take you to separate sites. Their privacy and cookie policies apply when you use them.
Messages and purchases
If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any information you choose to include. We use this information to respond and handle your enquiry. Purchases are completed through external stores; we do not collect card details through this catalogue website. A store may share order or customer information with us where needed to fulfil a purchase, provide support or meet legal obligations.
Purposes, retention and sharing
Information is used to operate and secure the website, respond to enquiries and handle relevant purchase support or legal obligations. Where applicable law requires a lawful basis, these activities may rely on legitimate interests, steps requested before a contract, performance of a contract or legal obligations, depending on the circumstances. Information is kept for as long as needed for its purpose, taking account of unresolved enquiries, security investigations and applicable record-keeping duties. Service providers may process information for these purposes, including outside your country. Applicable safeguards depend on the provider and relevant law.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent where processing relies on it, or complain to a relevant data protection authority. Contact us to make a request. We may need to verify your identity. We do not use this catalogue to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
