We received some lovely news today — Lucius Bluenote Carter’s Gentle as a Promise is now being played on Izwe Lomzansi FM in Durban, South Africa.
It’s a long way from where the song was created, and knowing it’s reaching new ears in another corner of the world is something we’re deeply grateful for.
Music moves in quiet ways, finding people when they need it most. It’s beautiful to know it’s resonating so far from home.
Thank you to the station, and to everyone in Durban who’s listening.
Where are you listening from today?
