This morning, listening again to Isaac’s new song Hold You Right Here — releasing 20 January — I was completely undone by it.
Not in a dramatic way. In a quiet, physical way. The kind that settles in your chest and doesn’t leave.
There’s a point in this song where something opens — not suddenly, not loudly — but inevitably. And when it does, you realise this music isn’t trying to be anything. It simply is.
That’s rare.
We talk a lot about authenticity, about soul, about honesty in music. But occasionally something arrives that goes beyond those words. Something so clear in its intent, so unforced, that it feels almost timeless.
This is one of those moments.
Isaac gave everything to this song — not technique, not performance, but presence. And I feel an overwhelming gratitude to be part of creating work that can reach this level of purity.
Hold You Right Here isn’t just a track. It’s a place you can rest.
I can’t wait for you to hear it.
