We were recently asked a simple, honest question by a listener who said she hoped we wouldn’t “burst her bubble”…
She wanted to know if the music she was hearing from us was real — or just AI-generated fluff dressed up to sound emotional.

Here’s what we told her. And we’re sharing it here because we know others are wondering too.

What you’re hearing is real. Real creativity. Real stories. Real voices originating from Real people.
Every song we release is carefully crafted — word by word, note by note — by humans who feel something. This isn’t “press a button and out pops a song.” That’s not how it works. Not here.

AI isn’t some new monster hiding in your speakers. It’s been around for 70 years — quietly helping us behind the scenes. Spellcheckers. Rain-sensing wipers. Your camera’s autofocus. Even the toaster that knows when to pop. Nobody panicked when those things arrived.

Same with music. Multitrack recording. Digital editing. Autotune. These tools have been used for decades — not to fake it, but to shape it. The key is: tools don’t create emotion. People do.

Think of a dish prepared by a world-class chef. Do you ask what brand of knife he used? No. You care how it tastes. How it made you feel. It’s the same with music.

Our studio is home to voices that aren’t chasing fame or touring contracts — they’re simply extraordinary performers who want to create without compromise. People like my wife Parichad — a lifelong singer who now shares her gift in a quiet, personal way… without ever needing to step on stage again. And she’s not alone.

Yes, we use modern tools like a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) to mix and master. So do Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Hans Zimmer, and every other major artist working today. It’s just the updated version of splicing tape and turning knobs. It’s not cheating. It’s evolution.

And the lyrics? They come from lived experience. Every single word is written by us — in studio — drawn from real heartbreaks, joy, memories, losses, love stories, and late-night what-ifs. We’ve cried while recording. We’ve paused mid-session just to breathe through the emotion. There’s nothing artificial about that.

I grew up with the music of the ’70s — the Flower Power years, the Canterbury Sound, Dylan, Caravan, Floyd, The Beatles, Queen, the Moody Blues. But also Sade, Barry White, Toni Braxton, George Benson, the Gipsy Kings… music that didn’t just sound good — it meant something. That’s what we aim for. Every track must move us first, or it doesn’t go out.

We don’t flood the world with content. We hold everything up to the light — and only release what we believe has soul.

So if something we’ve made has moved you — even a little — then the mission is working.

Thanks for listening.

Warmly,
Peter
