She Said, “Write That”

Some pieces don’t start as ideas.

They start as something you can’t quite explain.

This one came from a conversation while we were working from different studios across continents. I was trying to describe a feeling I’d never really had before — not emptiness, not distance, just… being somewhere that doesn’t feel like where I belong.

She said, “write that.”

So we did.

What came out of it is probably the most personal piece we’ve made so far. Not because it tries to say more, but because it says less and leaves space for what’s actually there.

Parichad is credited on this one for songwriting and production. That felt important. It wouldn’t exist without her.
