YouTube showed “6 months ago” when collected.
This morning got away from me a bit.
I spent hours inside one line of a song. The kind of detail that probably doesn’t matter to anyone else… but somehow matters completely when you’re in it. Everything resisted. Nothing quite behaved. I got tired, a bit overwhelmed, and just stepped away.
Put the television on without thinking too much about it, and somehow landed on a film about music. About staying grounded. About not losing the truth of why you started.
It felt… well timed.
Strange how that happens.
Anyway, I came back to the track afterwards, and everything felt simpler again.
Sometimes you just have to step out of it for a while.
