The In-Between Light

There’s a particular time of day that seems to sit behind a lot of what’s made here.

Not quite early morning, not quite evening. That in-between moment where the light shifts slightly, and things feel just a little more still than usual.

It’s not dramatic. You could easily miss it.

But if you do notice it, there’s a kind of clarity to it. Not in the sense of answers, but in the sense that everything is exactly where it is, without needing to be adjusted or improved.

That’s often where these pieces come from.

Not from big emotions or events, but from those quieter moments that don’t ask for attention, but hold something steady.

And perhaps that’s why the music tends to sit the way it does.

Not pushing. Not pulling. Just there.
