š«š· Violette Valois ā back in the studio, back in Paris (at least in spirit)
Itās been a little while since we last heard from Violette Valois, our enigmatic Parisian storyteller of the streets ā but sheās been quietly back in the studio, working her magic once again.
Yes, in French.
En franƧais, sāil vous plaĆ®t.
Over the past few weeks, weāve been recording a new collection of songs with Violette ā and thereās something deeply evocative about hearing her voice again, that soft, nostalgic phrasing, that sense that sheās whispering secrets across time and cobblestones.
Two tracks are now complete.
The first, āJāaime la Pluieā (I Love the Rain), is already live ā and itās pure poetry. It isnāt really about Paris, though it feels like it could be. Itās about emotion itself ā that quiet, reflective space we all fall into when the rain becomes music. You can listen here:

The second, due for release in just a few days, is āJe Reviens Ć Moiā ā a song that feels like twilight over Montmartre. Haunting, tender, cinematic. Violette at her most vulnerable and most human.
Itās been a joy to step back into her world ā the cafĆ©s, the reflections, the gentle melancholy of a city that always seems to remember you.
More to come, mes amis.
Paris is calling again. š§ļøāØ
