Behind the Curtain
Every voice tells a story. Here’s how we shape it into sound — with truth, tone, and a touch of soul, guided by Peter Pickering's hand as lyricist and imagineer.
Who Are the Voices?
Not All Artists Want the Stage
Not everyone wants the spotlight.
Not everyone wants to tour or chase the numbers.
The voices you’ll hear in Sessions on the Green come from those who care more about the music than the fame. They’re singers, songwriters, collaborators — some seasoned, some hidden, some just passing through for a single spark of a song — all shaped under the creative vision of Peter Pickering, who curates the stories behind the sound.
One of those voices is Isaac B. Cole — he doesn’t want the spotlight, but his music knows exactly how to linger.
They’re not trying to be anyone else. They’re not seeking applause.
They bring honesty, warmth, nuance. Sometimes just a whisper is enough.
And we give each voice space to become what the song needs — no more, no less.
Names? Sometimes we use real ones. Sometimes we don’t.
That’s not the point. The point is the feeling they leave behind.
Because it’s not about identity. It’s about resonance. And presence.
And What About the Instrumentals?
The music behind the voice matters just as much as the voice itself.
We don’t just loop and drop. We don’t simply cut and paste. Our instrumentals are crafted, shaped, and lived-in.
Each track begins with a breath of an idea — a rhythm, a progression, a shaded feeling — and it builds from there. Sometimes it swells like a full orchestra. Sometimes it barely rises above a murmur.
We mix digital textures with organic touches: soft horns, brushed snares, distant strings.
Everything is crafted to serve the story — not steal it.
It’s not background music. It’s mood, in motion.
We don’t score for charts. We sculpt for feeling.
Sound matters. So does silence.
We take our time.
Every track is shaped in high definition — 48kHz, 24-bit — because to us, quality isn’t a setting.
It’s a respect for the music, for the moment — something producer Peter Pickering insists upon.
Sometimes silence carries more weight than a chord.
Sometimes space speaks louder than rhythm.
We let the track breathe, until it feels like it’s always existed.
This isn’t just production.
This is devotion.

Every Track Tells a Story
"We don’t always know how it’ll end.
Sometimes, we don’t even know where it begins.
But when it’s ready — when it feels ready —
we release it into the world. Quietly. Honestly.
Like a letter that finds the right heart — every track carrying a fragment of the vision Peter Pickering first imagined".
