🎙️ So… where do the voices come from?

Every voice you hear in Sessions on the Green starts with a real person — a sampled human vocal, full of texture and tone. But what you hear in the final track? That’s something else entirely.

The voice is reshaped. Directed. Tuned. Sometimes it’s layered with other voices. Sometimes it’s slowed, stretched, or softened to suit the emotion of the piece. It’s no longer just a performance — it’s a character. We don’t use the original singer’s name because we’re not presenting their version of the voice. We’re presenting ours.

That’s why you’ll see names like Bonny Wilde, Gabriel La Voz, or Ash Chastain. They’re not the names of the original singers — they’re names we’ve given to the voices as they exist now. It’s about storytelling. About sound. About emotion. About soul.

The voices we work with come from different places — some are generated, some sampled, and some come from collaborators. But all of them go through the same process: crafted, not copied. We don’t just find a voice. We build one.

🎹 And What About the Instrumentals?

The music itself — the backing tracks, the instrumentals — they go through just as much care. Nothing is generic. Nothing is dragged and dropped. We start with ideas: sometimes sketches, sometimes full arrangements. They might begin with a riff, a rhythm, a mood. A synth swell here. A brushed snare there. A bassline that hums like a memory.

We blend digital instruments, custom loops, and tonal layers shaped by hand. Every element is crafted to serve the emotion — not the genre. Sometimes it feels like a full band or an orchestra. Other times, it’s just space and silence, coloured with tone.

We don’t write for charts. We sculpt for feeling.
